Although our drivers primary scope of operation is within a 500-mile radius of Ohio, drivers are required to operate any/all equipment for which they are qualified according to the needs and parameters prescribed by the Company.

Job requirements of drivers include:

  • Pre-trip safety inspections of all equipment
  • Pick-up and delivery of loads on time
  • The completion of weekly paperwork including paper logs, trip reports, signed bills-of-lading, and expenses
  • Keep interior of tractor clean
  • Daily check calls to dispatch by 8:
    00 AM and as directed thereafter
  • Reporting of all loss or damage of cargo and/or equipment
  • Responsible use of company money
  • Operation of equipment in a safe, courteous and efficient manner
  • Attendance at scheduled drivers meetings
  • Attend to all customers with professionalism
  • Comply with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations
  • Drive through the inspection bay prior to departing the yard


  • No serious moving violations (i.e. speeding 20+mph over limit, etc.


  • No more than 3 moving violations
  • DUI and felony convictions upon review
  • Current DOT medical card
  • Good knowledge of current DOT regulations
  • Desire to work and be a team player

Basic Operations

  • Average miles per week:
  • 95% of our runs are within a 500 mile radius of Brunswick, OH
  • 75% of what we do is preloaded and drop and hook trailers
  • Operating areas:
    states east of the Mississippi River NO NY STATE OR NEW ENGLAND STATES!!
  • Assigned trucks
  • Fuel card for fuel and scale tickets
  • EZ pass in all trucks
  • Dedicated lanes
  • No touch freight
  • Maintenance shop on site for general and complex repairs
  • Our fleet:
    Freightliner Cascadias or Columbias with Detroit Diesel engines and Internationals with Cummins ISX engines

Pay Information

  • $75/day training pay (If applicable.

  • Loaded and empty mileage based pay based on PC Practical miles:

    • New students:


    • Less than 6 months:

  • $59 per diem pay (per night spent in the truck, non-taxed)
  • Up to a $2,000 sign on bonus
